Requirements

Position Summary

We’re looking for a Senior PR & Analyst Relations Manager to own and drive how Wand is positioned in the global technology market. You’ll lead press and analyst engagement end-to-end building relationships, shaping narratives, securing high-impact coverage, and ensuring Wand is consistently recognized as a leader in enterprise AI and the hybrid workforce.

This is a highly autonomous, hands-on role. You’ll be responsible for translating complex product and strategy into clear, compelling market stories, preparing executives for media engagement, and proactively driving analyst inclusion and positioning. You’ll operate in a fast-moving, evolving environment where priorities shift quickly and execution speed matters.

This role is ideal for someone with deep technology PR experience who thrives in ambiguity, moves with urgency, and knows how to build influence without waiting for structure.

Responsibilities

Press Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive press strategy aligned with company positioning and category ambitions.
  • Secure high-quality coverage in top-tier business, technology, and enterprise media.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with journalists covering AI, enterprise software, productivity, and future-of-work topics.
  • Lead development of press materials including releases, executive messaging, briefing documents, Q&As, and media kits.
  • Prepare and coach executives for media engagements and public appearances.
  • Drive proactive storytelling, not just reactive announcements.

Analyst Relations

  • Build and manage relationships with key industry analysts (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC and relevant boutique firms).
  • Coordinate analyst briefings, inquiries, and strategic updates.
  • Position Wand effectively within relevant market categories and reports.
  • Track analyst perception and feed insights back into positioning and go-to-market strategy.

Narrative & Category Development

  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Leadership to refine Wand’s category narrative.
  • Develop thought leadership angles that differentiate Wand in a crowded AI landscape.
  • Identify speaking opportunities, awards, and strategic placements.
  • Ensure consistent external messaging across press, analysts, and events.

Measurement & Impact

  • Define KPIs for PR/AR success (coverage quality, share of voice, sentiment, analyst positioning).
  • Monitor media and analyst landscape for competitive intelligence.
  • Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to leadership.
  • Manage issue communications when necessary, protecting and strengthening brand reputation.

Key Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in press relations, analyst relations, or strategic communications within the technology sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise technology (AI preferred; SaaS required).
  • Existing relationships with relevant technology journalists and industry analysts.
  • Proven track record of shaping market narratives and securing high-impact coverage.
  • Experience managing executive communications and high-stakes messaging.
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution ability.
  • Comfort working in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in AI, automation, or emerging enterprise technologies.
  • Experience supporting category-creating or high-growth technology companies.
  • Exposure to both in-house and agency environments.
  • Global media experience across US, Europe, and APAC.
  • Experience working with founder-led organizations.

Personal Characteristics

  • Energized by fast pace, ambiguity, and change.
  • Comfortable operating without rigid structure.
  • Excited by category creation and industry influence.
  • Resilient and calm under pressure.
  • Direct communicator who values clarity over jargon.
  • Builder mindset, willing to create processes where none exist.
  • Curious about AI and the evolving nature of work.
  • High ownership and accountability.
